Karen Cohen
Karen Cohen joined the firm of M. C. O’Brien Inc. in 2007. Since actively entering the brokerage-side of the real estate business she has become an active member of the the National Association of Professional Women, the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors, the Brooklyn Board of Realtors, and the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce. In addition, she has become a regular at the Brooklyn Roundtable Speaker Series at the Brooklyn Historical Society. Mrs. Cohen, with her background in retail, has firsthand knowledge of the retail industry, and has assisted several regional and national tenants as well as landlords in concluding transactions.
Noteworthy clients include Amazing Savings, Metro PCS, Checkers, Pay Half, The US Army Corps of Engineers, CAMBA Inc., Touro College and H&R Block. Karen has also demonstrated an ability to successfully market property for sale, and has represented several individual owners and institutions and understands many of the specific concerns an owner or buyer may have in the sale of a property. In her first year as a broker she negotiated the sale of four (4) properties with an aggregate value of over $2,500,000.00.
